Planning is ongoing ...

I attended a meeting along with about 20 others involved with Putnam County Shelter planning at the Putnam County EOC this past Tuesday morning. Some new areas of interest were brought up and a review of concerns by the various agencies attending are being addressed. The new hurricane season begins June 1 but planning and training are year round. We all must also remember ... hurricanes are not our only local threat.
